TROPICAL DEPRESSION MAY HIT FLORIDA;GOVERNOR DECLARES STATE OF EMERGENCY

Tropical Depression 9 could hit our area Wednesday or Thursday of next week and may become a hurricane prior to that time.
Governor Ron DeSantis has declared a state of emergency for 24 counties including Palm Beach County in advance of the storm.  This move will free up funding for emergency protective measures.  The Florida National Guard will be activated and put on standby as well.  
Residents are advised to review their hurricane plan and inventory of related supplies.
