CRA AND CITY COUNCIL APPROVE LEASE FOR PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

The Boca Raton Community Redevelopment Agency and the City Council have approved a 
94-year land lease for a performing arts center. The land is adjacent to, and includes, the Mizner Park Amphitheater at the north end of Mizner Park.  The Amphitheater is owned by the city while the CRA owns the vacant land where the center is planned.  
Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in 2026 following fundraising efforts.
The performing arts center would include a facility for local and other dance, a theater, music and cultural organizations and space for other functions.
